Free Dental Camp was organized by Rotary and Rotaract Club of Gokarneshwor
The Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Gokarneshwor, successfully organized a Free Dental Camp on 12th June 2027 at Saraswati Women’s School, Shanti Batika, Gokarneshwor. The community health initiative was organized to promote oral hygiene awareness and provide accessible dental care services to local residents, particularly those with limited access to regular dental treatment.
The dental camp was conducted with the generous technical support of Om Samaj Dental Hospital, whose dedicated team of dentists, dental hygienists, and healthcare professionals volunteered their expertise throughout the day. The medical team provided comprehensive dental examinations, oral health consultations, preventive care advice, and recommendations for further treatment where necessary.
The program received an encouraging response from the local community, with more than 100 patients benefiting from the free dental services. Participants of all age groups attended the camp and received professional guidance on maintaining good oral hygiene, preventing common dental diseases, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. The initiative not only addressed immediate dental concerns but also helped raise awareness about long-term oral health practices.
The successful implementation of the dental camp was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Rotarians, Rotaractors, healthcare professionals, and volunteers who worked together to ensure the smooth operation of the program. Their teamwork and commitment reflected Rotary’s enduring motto of “Service Above Self.”
On this special occasion, President Rtn. Sabika Twanabasu and Charter President Rtn. Durga Devi Mainali presented Certificates of Appreciation to the dental team from Om Samaj Dental Hospital and other supporting partners in recognition of their valuable contribution and outstanding service to the community.
