About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor was officially chartered on 30 November 2022, with the Rotary Club of Bagmati serving as its sponsor club.

The club began its journey with 30 charter members, led by Charter President Rtn. Durga Devi Mainali. New Club Advisor Rtn. Prabhat Yonzon played an important and active role throughout the club’s formation and chartering process.

The Charter Celebration was held in a grand manner at Norling Resort, Gokarneshwor. The then District Governor, Rtn. More than 30 officials and distinguished Rotarians from Rotary International District 3292 attended the ceremony, making it a memorable occasion for the newly established club.

To strengthen its legal and administrative foundation, the Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor was officially registered as a non-governmental organization with the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, under the prevailing Association Registration Act.

The club was also registered with the Inland Revenue Office, Chabahil, Kathmandu, and received its Permanent Account Number (PAN).
