5th Installation Ceremony
The Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor proudly celebrated its 5th Installation Ceremony on 18 July 2026 at Norling Resort, Mulpani, Gokarneshwor, marking the beginning of another exciting Rotary year dedicated to fellowship, leadership, and meaningful community service.
The ceremony was graced by Rotarian Rajendra Man Serchan, Past District Governor (RID 3292), as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring address encouraged members to strengthen Rotary’s values through integrity, compassion, and sustainable service. The event was also honored by the presence of distinguished Rotarians, Assistant Governors, club leaders, members, partners, guests, and well-wishers.
During the formal installation, Rotarian Badri Rai was officially inducted as the President of the Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor for Rotary Year 2026–2027, along with the newly elected Board of Directors and committee chairs. The incoming leadership took an oath to uphold Rotary’s ideals and work together to create lasting and measurable impact within the community.
In his inaugural address, President Badri Rai expressed heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing leadership for their dedication and achievements. He shared his vision of strengthening membership, enhancing public image, expanding impactful service projects, supporting The Rotary Foundation, empowering youth, and building stronger partnerships with local communities. He reaffirmed the club’s commitment to serving under Rotary’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self.”
The ceremony featured fellowship, recognition of distinguished guests, cultural performances, and the presentation of tokens of appreciation, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
As the Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor embarks on its fifth year of service, the club remains committed to delivering innovative projects that improve lives, protect the environment, promote education and health, and inspire positive change. With renewed energy and united leadership, the club looks forward to creating a lasting impact in Gokarneshwor and beyond throughout Rotary Year 2026–2027.
