Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor Tree Plantation Program

The Rotary Club of Gokarneshwor, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Gokarneshwor, is organizing a Tree Plantation Program at the Bagmati Corridor, Makalbari.
As part of our commitment to environmental conservation, our club is proud to support the vision of District Governor Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karki and Rotary International District 3292 in achieving the ambitious goal of planting 100,000 trees during Rotary Year 2026–2027.
Our members and volunteers will come together to make a meaningful contribution through the following activities:
- 🌱 Planting approximately 100 tree saplings
- 🌳 Pruning and caring for trees planted during last year’s campaign
- ♻️ Cleaning the surrounding area of the Bagmati Corridor
- 🤝 Working together with the Rotaract Club of Gokarneshwor to protect and enhance our local environment
Through this initiative, we aim not only to increase green cover but also to inspire community participation in environmental stewardship. Every tree planted today is an investment in a healthier, cleaner, and more sustainable future for generations to come.
Together, let’s create a greener Gokarneshwor and make a lasting impact through service.
